We are built on the principle of local-first storage. Your data remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to use a feature that requires external processing.

a) Data Stored Locally:

All your core data—including folders, chat notes, custom profiles, and extension settings—is stored locally on your browser using its built-in storage mechanisms. We do not have access to this data.

b) Information for Future Services:

As we develop new features, we may introduce an optional account system. If you choose to create an account, we will collect your email address to provide and manage that service. This will be clearly communicated at the time of release.

c) Information You Provide to Third-Party Services:

AssemblyAI (Speech-to-Text): This feature requires you to provide your own AssemblyAI API key. When you use it, your audio data is sent directly to AssemblyAI for processing. We do not receive, store, or process your audio data. Your use of AssemblyAI is subject to their Privacy Policy. You are solely responsible for managing your API key and any costs incurred with AssemblyAI.

Dodo Payments: When you upgrade to a paid plan, all payment information is processed directly by our payment processor, Dodo Payments. We only receive confirmation of your purchase and the necessary billing details (e.g., your email for the license key). We do not store or have access to your full payment card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • • To provide, maintain, and improve the core functionality of the extension.
  • • To process your subscription and manage your Pro license.
  • • To communicate with you about important updates, security alerts, or customer support.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it in the following limited circumstances:

  • • Service Providers: We use Dodo Payments to process payments.
  • • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Access and Deletion: Since your data is stored locally, you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's extension data or uninstalling the extension. For any other personal data, you can contact us to request access or deletion.
